Eden Scott are delighted to be supporting with a growing organisation to recruit for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their Edinburgh based team.
This is a full time, permanent opportunity offering hybrid working.
This role fits within a highly collaborative team, being directly responsible for maintaining the purchase ledger of one of the organisation's entities. There is an opportunity to assist with ad-hoc projects.
This role will either suit a candidate with an excellent baseline knowledge of purchase ledger who can hit the ground running with the right attitude to learn the regulations of a new industry, or, a more junior candidate looking to progress on their skillset.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Processing invoices
2. Matching invoices to purchase orders
3. Processing supplier payment runs
4. Posting authorised and matched invoices
5. Reconciling supplier statements and dealing with supplier queries
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
1. Either extensive purchase ledger experience or limited experience but willing to expand on skillset
2. Self-sufficient and ability to hit the ground running
3. Ability to work well within a collaborative environment
4. Great IT Skills
