Due to expansion, my prestigious client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their growing team, reporting to the Business Analyst Team Leader.
Detailed duties and responsibilities
1. Communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of a project
2. Liaising with business managers and end users to understand and document business processes, workflows, and requirements
3. Facilitating business managers and end users undertaking BPI/BPR activities
4. Appraising the impact of suggested changes on affected business areas
5. Ability to translate business requirements into something that can be understood at all levels of a project from end users to software developers
6. Translating client requirements into highly specified project briefs
7. Planning and managing the implementation of small-scale projects
8. Planning and managing the implementation of agile application developments
9. Ensuring business solutions are aligned with the IS Business Strategy
10. Undertaking the production of business cases and feasibility studies
11. Providing weekly reports to the Business Analysis Team Leader showing progress against outstanding milestones
12. Developing and maintaining knowledge on best of breed business analysis standards, tools, methods, and techniques
Technical skills
1. Workshop facilitation
2. Process/workflow mapping
3. BPMN
Skills, knowledge, and experience
1. Knowledge of the legal sector
2. Experience with a case management system
3. Experience of an agile software development methodology
4. BCS Diploma in Business Analysis desirable
