Reporting to the Head of Product, you will support the Group Tour Shop product team, creating a unique portfolio of included activities, optional activities and dining experiences which are sustainable, local and responsible, enhancing our guests overall experience, maintaining excellent value for money and maximising our revenue. If you are a creative and driven individual with a passion for travel and have experience planning or executing trips professionally, we want to hear from you Key Duties & Responsibilities We are seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for travel and extensive knowledge of EMEA destinations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of planning and organising trips, as well as excellent organisational and communication skills. Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide support across the product planning process fulfilling all product department objectives. -Research and analyse competitor business plus industry and market trends. -Stay up-to-date with all legal requirements across all destinations. -Ensure the Sales team are provided the latest product prices, working to tight quotation deadlines. -Work closely with Sales and Operations assisting with quotes, requests and customer feedback. -Improve and develop new and existing tour itineraries for Group Tour Shop clients. - Continuously review products on sale – ensuring the optimum product, content and price is provided at all times. -Coordinate with suppliers and the operations team to ensure seamless tour logistics. -Ensure that the product we offer is cost-effective, safe and enjoyable for our customers while maximising profitability for Group Tour Shop. -Monitor product feedback and quality, taking the necessary actions when required. -Monitor sales performance, make recommendations and take action to achieve sales and revenue targets. -Create, maintain and develop relationships with suppliers. Essential Skills & Requirements -Able to legally work in the UK or South Africa or Europe. -Excellent Knowledge of EMEA destinations. -You are experienced in Word/ Excel/PowerPoint. -Fluent in spoken and written English ( additional languages such as Italian and/or German are a preference). -Excellent organisational and communication skills. -Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. - You are highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail. - You are self-motivated and enthusiastic, with a flexible approach and are able to work at pace in a pressurised environment to meet deadlines. -Strong passion for travel and a commitment to provide others with experiences of a lifetime. - You have a strong customer service ethic. Benefits -Being part of an amazing, loyal, hard-working and fun team. -Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. 37.5 hrs a week, core hours are Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm with exceptional weekend or evening availability for travelling abroad, exhibitions or events. -Flexible work location: We have an office in Greenwich London, and another office in Cape Town. If you are based in either of these locations you could work full time or hybrid from the office 3 days office and 2 at home. Or if based in the UK or Europe you could work remote and 1 day a month in the office required. -UK based 20 days holidays a year plus bank holidays. After a period of 3 full years of continuous employment an additional 3 days annual leave will be granted on the anniversary of your start date.
