Mechanical Technician Kintore, Aberdeenshire, United Kingdom £35,000-£38,000 Job Description We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to assemble and test K-Winch products, including wireline winches, masts, and accessories. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools safely, including tube bending equipment, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will work collaboratively with your team, identifying and reporting safety concerns, following risk assessments, and ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and correctly the first time. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to assemble equipment accurately. Manufacture and maintain hydraulic systems, ensuring cleanliness and quality. Inspect materials, products, and equipment for defects. Support and mentor team members while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a safe, organised, and clean workspace following 5S and LEAN principles. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and product quality. Attend daily team meetings, actively engaging in discussions to resolve potential issues. Meet production targets while ensuring work meets quality standards. Report design or assembly issues promptly to the Cell Leader.
