We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Trust Accounts and Tax Administrator to join our trust department and contribute to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Liaise with Solicitors, Banks, and Wealth Managers: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with solicitors, banks, and wealth managers to ensure smooth and efficient handling of trust accounts and tax-related matters. This includes coordinating with these professionals to gather necessary information, resolve issues, and provide updates on the status of accounts.
2. Handle Form Filling and Paperwork: Accurately complete and manage the filing of various forms and paperwork related to trust accounts and tax administration. This requires a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
3. Assist in the Administration of Trust Accounts and Tax-Related Matters: Support the trust department in managing trust accounts and tax-related matters, including the collation of information required for the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and other related documents. This involves working closely with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
4. Reception Cover: Duties include covering reception and whole office admin cover at least one day per week. This includes typing, dealing with post in/out and covering switchboard.
Requirements:
1. Strong Organisational Skills and Attention to Detail: The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills and a meticulous approach to handling tasks. Attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in form filling, paperwork, and financial documentation.
2. Excellent Communication Skills: Effective communication is essential for liaising with solicitors, banks, and wealth managers. The candidate must be able to convey information clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
3. Proficiency in Form Filling and Handling Paperwork: Experience in accurately completing forms and managing paperwork is highly desirable.
4. Previous Experience in a Professional Environment: Prior experience working in a bank, solicitor's office, or other professional environment is highly desirable. This background will provide the candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in this role.
