1:1 Community Education Teacher Batley / Dewsbury area Full time, long term Salary dependent on skills, training and qualifications We are seeking an experienced teacher to deliver and manage a specialist programme of learning for young people within the community. This is a full time role open to Instructors, QTS qualified and Unqualified teachers, ideally with experience of working with young people with SEMH backgrounds. You will be designing, delivering and coordinating learning experiences for young people with SEMH who may be hard to reach. A driving licence and access to a car is essential for this role as it involves a varied timetable moving between sites. Role Requirements This is a different opportunity to teach during the usual school day but on an individualised basis. Ideally you will be confident in delivering a number of curriculum subjects and enjoy working in a highly personalised, flexible and adaptable way. You will be patient and prioritise good working relationships. We are seeking a teacher who can plan engaging sessions covering academic learning and executive functioning skills. The staff member will report on progress and keep a number of internal systems up to date. The role will initially ruin until Christmas, but there is opportunity for an assignment to continue up until June. Salary is dependent upon experience, training and qualifications. The minimum requirement for this role is previous teaching or tutoring experience.
