What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be at the heart of the action, preparing accurate and competitive estimates for a variety of electrical projects. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: Keeping projects running smoothly by maintaining a consistent workflow across the UK and Ireland. Ensuring all tenders are completed accurately, following company procedures, and delivered on time. Performing detailed take-offs and inputting them into estimating software to build precise cost projections. Reviewing actual installation times and comparing them to budgets to identify areas for improvement. Collaborating with subcontractors to vet quotes, check for compliance, and ensure they align with project specifications. Spotting opportunities for value engineering and suggesting alternative products where suitable. Staying up-to-date with pricing trends, competition, and market conditions to produce winning estimates. Sharing knowledge by identifying and implementing best practices across the company to improve estimating processes. What You’ll Bring to the Team We’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running and bring their expertise to the table. Here’s what you’ll need to succeed: Experience working as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar role and confidence preparing estimates for electrical projects. Knowledge of electrical installations, which is a plus but not essential. A degree in Engineering or a related field, preferred but not required. Attention to detail, being thorough, accurate, and proud of delivering quality work. Communication skills that help build strong relationships with stakeholders and work well in a team. Compliance focus, with a solid understanding of Health and Safety regulations and their practical application.
