Our client is a lady in her late teens who lives at home with her parents, brother and the family cat. She is non-verbal, has cerebral palsy and epilepsy (with seizures) and due to the clients support needs and preference the successful candidate will need to be female, have a calm and friendly approach with previous experience of working with complex needs/brain injury. As this is a night role, duties will include pad changing, seizure management, general household duties and monitoring of the client using a video link. Pay: £17.26 per hour Hours: 18 hours per week over two nights (22:00 - 07:00) Key Responsibilities: Engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists. Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility. Administering medication and monitoring health conditions. Providing emotional support and companionship. Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions. Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care. To be able to deal with challenging behaviours. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
