Our client, a leader in their sector, seek to recruit an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead Team Leaders and a wider team of Engineer Coordinators. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage and lead a team of coordinators who are responsible for scheduling, planning, and raising purchase orders for both planned and reactive maintenance work. Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including engineers working 24/7, to meet client demands and operational targets. Collaborate closely with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure high-quality service delivery. Monitor and improve operational processes. Work closely with the Technical team and General Manager to identify areas for improvement within the team. Develop a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Key Requirements: A proven track record in operations management, preferably within an industrial and maintenance environment. A knowledge or understanding of mechanical engineering. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using planning and scheduling tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
