Our Specialist Supply Agency are working with numerous mainstream primary schools across Bolton, who require 1:1 teaching assistants to support children with a range of additional needs.

No problem! Aspire Behaviour Management provide all the training you need to ensure you are ready and raring to go!
We do this via our in-house training that will provide you with an initial toolkit to get you started, along with an extensive range of courses available for you to access, should you need to expand your skillset.
Now you're thinking, Great! But what will I be doing!?
1. Supporting within a classroom setting providing an extra pair of hands to the teaching staff.
2. Providing 1:1 support to the child, ensuring that they feel supported in all aspects of learning.
3. Building positive relationships to allow engagement from the child, to foster a positive learning environment and ensure their individual needs are met.
4. Use of effective Behaviour Management Strategies to overcome challenges in education that the child may face.
5. Supporting with learning ways to manage behaviours and emotions the child may struggle with.
6. Completing any administrative tasks required of you, including record-keeping and providing any information required to those completing reports to support the child.
7. Working closely with the school to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum, and support to the child.
Ok, so what are the requirements?
The Children and Young People we support have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs (SEMH), and are identified as at risk of exclusion from mainstream education. Therefore, this can be a challenging role but one of the most rewarding.
We are therefore looking for people who hold the following:
1. Grade 4 or above in English & Maths (or equivalent)
2. A passion for going above and beyond for Children & Young People and the individual needs they have.
3. Effective communication skills.
4. Ability to understand not every day is a challenge.
5. Be excited about each day bringing something new to the table.
6. Calm, understanding and empathetic.
7. Engage with the children by modelling positive relationships.
8. Willingness to learn about the Children and Young People you are working with, to support them to reach their full potential.
9. Right to Work in the UK.
