We have a position available for a Receptionist behind the main Reception desk and as part of the office team at Three Rivers Park. You will be working with/under the current Accounts Manager and Park Manager.
Three Rivers is an independent, family-run Holiday and Residential Park on the outskirts of Clitheroe, in the Ribble Valley. We have big plans for the Park moving forward and are looking for a reliable, dedicated individual for a long-term career with us.
You would have a variety of duties and responsibilities in the office, working on various aspects of the Park including:
* General day-to-day reception duties including greeting/dealing with customers, phone answering, and taking and processing payments.
* Record keeping, inputting data, and invoicing through our computer system.
* Some social media management.
* Handling and replying to emails and queries on Park.
* Relaying messages/instructions to other staff.
* Ordering and receiving goods.
* Using Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
* Some Health and Safety duties.
* Monitoring swimming pool use.
* Other general ad-hoc duties as they may arise.
* Working as part of the team on Park.
* Reporting problems and issues to Managers.
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic, and genuine individual, who is computer literate and has a good work ethic and capacity/willingness to learn. Someone who can work independently and as part of a team and who is willing to go the extra mile for the Park and tackle any challenge to the best of their ability. You should be committed and responsible, punctual, and conscientious. You will be the face and voice of Three Rivers, so you should have a good telephone manner and take pride in your appearance as well as your work.
Ideally, you should have some experience in a similar role; however, this is not essential. Any qualifications/experience of dealing with swimming pools and/or Health and Safety is a bonus.
The hours would be 37.5 hrs a week from 9:00-17:00 across 5 days, including at least one weekend day plus holiday cover when required. Wages would be on an hourly rate to be determined by the quality of the candidate starting at £10/hr. We are looking for a long-term prospect who can be with us for years to come, with the possibility of growth and promotion within the company.
Training will be provided where required.
