Perhaps you’ve been working as a Buying Assistant/Admin for a year or two or have experience in a retail role – if so, we’d love to hear from you What’s desirable is your knowledge of fashion trading or category management, and the ability to think outside the box. Working in the Commercial – Range Team, you will assist and support the Range Manager with trade analysis, product selection and sign offs, achieving KPI’s and maximise growth season on season. This role is great for gaining exposure in the wider business/leadership team and demonstrating your ability to key stakeholders, whilst influencing decisions on product range and colour selection. Travelling to France is essential, working with our international colleagues to build the future ranges. This is a permanent, hybrid role working Monday & Friday from home and Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday in the office. Key Responsibilities: Assisting in the planning and compilation of product, this includes analysing sales and bestsellers, building the range to hit key KPI’s, presenting the range and catalogue construction to senior management and working with our international team on product developments. Develop your market and competitor understanding to highlight new and improved product opportunities and maximise sales through regular competitor benchmarking. As with most roles, there's no getting away from admin tasks too Other duties involved in this role include; •Involvement with the marketing team to trade the website, emails & socials •Managing failed deliveries •Product selection for range building & recruitment tools •Involvement in concept building & catalogue construction with our creative teams •Working closely with QC to manage product fittings & return rates Skills and Experience: You will be passionate about product, creative and a strong sense of product sensitivity with the desire to bring innovative ideas forward, contributing towards continuous improvement but also having the confidence to voice your opinions and suggestions, which may be challenged. Attention to detail, excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively are essential A good knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office tools is required, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience working in a buying or category management team is desirable.
