Role Overview
Main Duties and Responsibilities
As a Warehouse and Stock Control Associate, your day-to-day tasks will include:
Assisting in receiving and checking in all deliveries to the warehouse, including checking off and recording incoming stock and informing the buying team of any irregularities
Transferring stock to the correct warehouse, taking care not to damage products or packaging
Picking, packing, and dispatching customer orders with care and within time targets, ensuring accurate paperwork is dispatched, waste is disposed of correctly, and the computer system is updated
Maintain stock rotation and take part in stock checks with the wider team.
Complete and adhere to all health and safety training to adhere to GDPR guidelines when disposing of paperwork
Maintain good working relationships with staff, projecting a professional image at all times
About the RoleWe are looking for a helpful Warehouse and Stock Control Associate to join our Winsford Warehouse Team.
This role offers varied tasks to keep you challenged and engaged.
You’ll be a key player in our warehouse departments, from receiving goods through stock-take activity and accurate records management to dispatching customer orders - no two days are the same!

Essential Skills
Skills Required
Recent experience in a warehouse or similar environment, such as a supermarket or a large retail store e-commerce distribution centre
A team player who is happy to receive tasks and lend a hand and can keep up with deliveries with the confidence to question any discrepancies
A good communicator with excellent standards of customer service
Comfortable using computers at a basic level, such as inputting information, sending emails, etc.
Takes pride in work and has a keen eye for detail; this department is helpful and hardworking and completes tidy work that they are proud to distribute
