We are looking for a male Support Worker who must be a driver with access to their own car to support a friendly client living with an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). This is a weekend role that involves providing companionship and support with day-to-day activities, helping the client maintain independence while enjoying meaningful and engaging experiences. Key Responsibilities: Support client with meal preparation and light domestic tasks. Provide companionship and community support - ideal for someone who enjoys: Pub lunches - £10 daily lunch allowance included Visiting antique shops - £0.45 mileage paid when driving for the client Exploring car boot sales Listening to and chatting about music (including music decks) Community Engagement: Assist with safe community access and transport (driver with own vehicle required). Provide respectful and encouraging support in a relaxed, informal setting. Required Qualifications: Male support worker (as requested by the client’s preferences). Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to a reliable vehicle. Understanding and experience supporting individuals with ABI or similar needs (desirable but not essential). Comfortable working in a home where the client smokes (client will not smoke around the worker).
