This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and diverse, multi-agency team receiving significant investment to transform community mental health services across the Black Country. The focus is on developing a new community mental health model tailored to the needs of Dudley, Sandwell, Walsall, and Wolverhampton, supporting individuals in their communities with mental health challenges.
Everyone in the Black Country will have fair access to mental health services that are sensitive to local community needs. Access will be streamlined through a single point of contact, and service users will be assigned a named mental health worker to facilitate personalized care involving health, care, and voluntary support services.
Main duties of the job

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, preferably with adult and community mental health experience, you will assess and formulate individual interventions, plans, and outcomes promoting recovery, in line with the recovery model and legislation.
You should have up-to-date knowledge of NHS policies and practices in mental health, experience with therapeutic interventions and psychotropic medications, and the ability to work with partner agencies, lead projects, and motivate teams. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are essential. The team offers regular supervision and development opportunities.

* RMN qualification
