Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work three days a week, covering Wednesday to Friday, providing high-quality teaching support across all key stages.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the absence of the class teacher.
Provide targeted support to small groups and individual pupils to enhance learning outcomes.
Collaborate with teachers to create and deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
Support the assessment and tracking of pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.
Contribute to the planning and delivery of interventions for pupils requiring additional support.
Uphold and promote the school’s policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
What We’re Looking For
Qualification: HLTA status or equivalent qualification is essential.
Experience: Proven experience working within a primary school setting and covering all key stages.
Skills: Excellent communication, adaptability, and organisational skills.
Commitment: A proactive attitude and dedication to supporting the development and well-being of all pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
