The opportunity has arisen for a ‘Teacher of Drama - with some KS3 Dance’ within our incredibly successful and enthusiastic Dance and Drama department. There may be leadership opportunities within the department for the right candidate.

Performing Arts is a thriving part of our school. We offer AQA Drama and Theatre at A level. We also offer AQA Drama and Dance at GCSE. The curriculum is rich and challenging and focuses on building students’ enjoyment and interest along with the knowledge and skills required for examination success. For a September 2025 start, we are looking for an outstanding practitioner.
We wish to appoint a colleague to this post who has:
* A strong background in Drama, ideally including experience of teaching GCSE and A level, ideally with the ability to teach KS3 Dance
* A passion for teaching, and a track record as a highly effective classroom practitioner
* The ability to inspire and motivate students and colleagues to achieve their best
* Highly effective interpersonal, communication, management and leadership skills
* A commitment to professional development
* A commitment to wider curricular activities and promoting a love of the Arts
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
