Job Description The Project Engineer will be responsible for leading the project effort for specific areas as assigned. He/she will assist the Project Manager, Proposal Manager, or Project Engineering Manager on various aspects of project management following Corporate and project policies, procedures, and plans. This position will be based in the T.EN offices, Milton Keynes or London, UK. Job Scope The Project Engineer's main responsibilities are: - Assisting the Project Manager, Proposal Manager, or Project Engineering Manager on various aspects of project management for the day-to-day coordination and control in the area of assignment, including but not limited to: - KOM coordination, set up, agenda, minute of meetings, and follow-up actions - Project procedures and plans, organization charts - Schedule and manning set up, Master Deliverable Register, etc. - Coordination on site visits, TQs, Client documentation, etc. - Coordinating, preparing, and supporting project reports – monthly, weekly, etc. - Coordinating and supporting project review meetings, technical meetings, design reviews/safety reviews, MOMs, and follow-up actions including close-out actions - Coordinating various engineering functions, non-engineering functions for interface alignment, progress, quality aspects, schedule aspects, etc. - Supporting and coordinating for change management - Preparing CTRs and follow-ups - Supporting applications for approvals under planning and other legislative and regulatory requirements and ensuring any conditions imposed are implemented - Supporting to ensure all required tools and software are suitably set up - Ensuring that HSSE in design is enforced and that the design takes account of safe construction methods - Ensuring timely internal and external reporting on project activities to the project manager and client, as the case may be - Applying expertise to the most complex problems; coordinating work outside own area of expertise - Effective and timely coordination internally, with other operating centers, and external parties - Focusing on timely project completion ensuring quality, safety, margins, etc. - Focusing on client satisfaction as well as internal stakeholders - Engaging in proposal activities, liaison with functions, coordinating and writing execution plans, manhours, schedules, etc. - Deputizing for the PMT as required Typical Background and Experience Required: The Project Engineer must have experience working in a multi-disciplined engineering environment and possess good communication skills. Must Have: - B.Sc or equivalent Degree in Engineering from an accredited university - Previous experiences in Process, Engineering, or other functions involved in Project Execution - Fluency in English - Proficiency in MS Tools - Good communication and organizational skills Nice to Have: - Associate Engineer status moving towards Chartered Engineer status - Broad knowledge of Project and Engineering workflow - Front End and EPC project experience - CDM 2015 experience The ideal candidate should be a team player with an aptitude to learn and grow, respectful of the company, its values, and the brand.
