Building New Reservoirs: You could contribute to the design and coordination of new reservoirs to enhance water storage and prepare for dry seasons. Key Responsibilities Help develop and maintain a 5-year investment plan for our water systems, reviewing it regularly to ensure it aligns with community needs, budgets, and performance goals. Use data and insights to support thoughtful decision-making that provides real value to customers through improved service, cost savings, and environmental care. Coordinate the creation of spending proposals that are carefully considered and financially balanced. Ensure the plan reflects meaningful service improvements. Support and nurture an efficient and transparent investment process. Contribute to cost estimates and help identify the most suitable investment choices. Encourage ongoing improvements to processes, tools, and systems fostering a culture of openness, learning, and shared innovation. Work together with teams across the organisation and with external partners to co-create a clear and inclusive investment plan. Represent the company in forums where listening and collaboration are essential. Skills, Qualifications & Competencies Ability to bring people together and thoughtfully solve challenges. Comfort using asset management tools and interpreting data. Familiarity with asset management practices and principles. Confidence in working with complex information and supporting evidence-based decisions. Clear, compassionate communication and the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders. Understanding of financial considerations, including balancing benefits and risks. Experience in writing supportive reports and presenting ideas clearly. A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Asset Management, Economics) or equivalent experience. Experience in asset planning, infrastructure investment, or collaborative project development ideally within a public or utility-focused setting.
