Description Manage the procurement of goods and services in line with organisational policies and procedures. Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers. Ensure the effective operation of the supply chain. Develop and implement procurement strategies. Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders on procurement projects. Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements. Profile A successful Procurement Officer should have: Proven experience in a procurement role within the public sector. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using procurement software and systems.
