Job Description: As a Buyer at Bonculina, you will ensure we procure the best materials at the most competitive price, whilst making sure supply is maintained and specifications are adhered to. Responsibilities: Manage specified contracts, suppliers and projects allocated in line with the overall business strategic plans. Understand the requirements of the business and ensure these are met through supplier contracts and management. Working with the non-manufacturing departments in the business to ensure their needs are met so as to ensure the smooth running of the business. Work with the Operations and Compliance teams to ensure the correct product is purchased, then introduced quickly and smoothly, minimising any impact on production. Uphold the company's commitment to quality and sustainability. Keep the wider business informed on progress of any projects Keep up to date with market trends in relevant categories, and make the business aware of any opportunities these may present. Maintaining good relationships with the company supplier base Qualifications: Previous experience of procurement in the food service sector You will have: the ability to confidently negotiate contracts with suppliers and build strong relationships Excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate at all levels internally and externally The ability to manage competing demands and changing timeframes Why BonCulina?
