You will work closely with various development teams to deliver functionality and new features. Your expertise in engineering and supporting K8s clusters will be crucial in this role. Collaborating with the platforms team on multi-tenant private and public cloud initiatives will also be part of your responsibilities. Your commitment to continuous improvement should be evident in your approach towards evolving and transforming our platforms. Work closely with development teams (front office or mid/back office) to deliver functionality and facilitate the delivery of new features Engineering and support of K8s clusters Collaborate with the platforms team on multi-tenant private and public cloud initiatives Deliver services to core business sectors globally including Trading, middle and back office, and Technology Ensure high levels of automation and orchestration for standardisation and repeatability Continuously evolve and transform platforms to maintain competitive edge What You Bring The ideal DevOps Engineer candidate brings a wealth of industry experience, preferably within a Financial institution. Your comprehensive understanding of Kubernetes engineering and support will be essential for this role. Proficiency in configuration management and automation using Ansible is required along with programming skills in Python. A deep understanding of CI/CD using Teamcity and Jenkins is expected. Experience with Nexus or Artifactory as well as knowledge of OpenTelemetry is also necessary. Minimum 5 years of industry experience Experience working with pull requests and peer reviews in an agile environment Comprehensive Kubernetes engineering and support experience Proficiency in configuration management and automation using Ansible Programming skills in Python, Groovy, Java or c# Understanding of CI/CD using Teamcity and Jenkins Experience with Nexus or Artifactory Knowledge of OpenTelemetry and Prometheus, ELK, Tempo or Jaeger Platform engineering experience with Public Cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure or AWS What Sets This Company Apart Our client is a leading firm that values innovation and continuous improvement.
