Job Overview
The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing tax opportunities and financial data, completing research, creating financial models, and making recommendations that help the Client Relationship Manager guide families to the best decisions for their financial planning situations and goals.
The ideal candidate for this position has experience in financial planning and investment concepts, enjoys tax research projects, is a problem-solver who can drive picture change while also tending to the details, and seeks opportunities to think outside the box and take calculated risks.

Job Details
* Utilizes your ability to think ahead and foresee challenges to make recommendations that help drive the client’s goals
* Leans into your ingenuity and innovation to create and recommend financial strategies
* Identifies risks and evaluates options to derive solutions for clients
* Ensures accuracy as you review financial documents, build balance sheets, and complete forecasting to evaluate client’s current and future financial situations
* Leads the charge in creating a modeling template library and keeping it updated with current versions and strategies
* Applies problem-solving techniques to evaluate new opportunities and uncover existing inefficiencies in clients’ financial, tax, and estate plans
* Drives winning outcomes by conducting research on various tax and estate strategies
* Questions ideas and information to help guide the decision-making process
* Helps clients and Client Relationship Managers understand data-driven opportunities and challenges through presentations and other communication methods
* Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather insights, support decision-making, and drive financial best practices across the organization
* Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar field study (required)
* Experience with tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements (required)
* 3+ years of experience as a Tax or Financial Analyst or similar position
* CFA or CFP certification (preferred)
* Strong understanding of financial and tax terms and concepts
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritize, handle, and track multiple assignments
* Exceptional communication skills
* Highly Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
* Candidates must be located or willing to relocate to Mississippi, Tennessee, or Alabama
