Due to growth in our services, we're looking for a dedicated Fire Safety Works Coordinator to join our Fire Safety team on a 12m Fixed-Term-Contract. You’ll be an essential part of ensuring our residents’ safety, supporting the team with fire risk assessments and compliance work. As a Compliance Works Coordinator, you'll help schedule Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) actions, manage customer appointments, and provide administrative support to the Fire Safety team. This role is perfect for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. Your key responsibilities will include: Allocating fire safety work to our internal team and external contractors, ensuring timely completion. Managing and monitoring the Fire Safety inbox, scheduling appointments, and handling customer queries. Uploading documentation, raising purchase orders, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for all fire safety works. Providing general administrative support for the Fire Safety team, including organising meetings and producing reports. Supporting the Fire Safety Works Manager with project-related tasks and contributing to cross-team collaboration. What we’re looking for: Excellent communication skills – You’ll work closely with contractors, customers, and internal teams to manage works effectively. Organisational abilities – Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks, often under pressure. IT proficiency – Experience using Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and Teams to manage workflows and documentation. Customer-focused approach – Able to communicate clearly with residents, addressing concerns and ensuring smooth coordination of safety works. Problem-solving skills – Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and able to resolve issues as they arise. Desirable, but not essential: Knowledge of fire safety compliance (such as fire doors, fire stopping). Experience in scheduling or programmed works and producing reports.
