Permanent / Full Time
Hours: 37 per week (Monday - Friday with a willingness to work evenings & weekends to meet the needs of the business)
Salary: £40,000 per annum
Location: Hot Desks across Birmingham Museum Sites / Hybrid
This role will oversee the delivery of the core functions of the team, which include two administrators who focus on recruitment and payroll administration, providing operational HR support. The post-holder will report directly into the Director of Transformation, and support and lead the delivery of People initiatives; they will oversee employee relations, and provide advice and support to managers across our organisation, and co-ordinate workforce development.
To succeed in this role you will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
1. An understanding of the Trust’s commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
2. Experience of working in a relevant People & Culture (HR) role with appropriate qualification or experience
3. Experience of managing others, facilitating the delivery of work, which includes payroll, recruitment, and other operational HR matters
4. The ability to prioritise and to plan appropriately
5. Managing relationships at all levels pro-actively and reactively, used to support and lead employee relations
