8-week cycle working a mixture of days and nights (07:00 - 19:00 or 19:00 to 07:00)
Salary: £38,000 per annum - Shift allowance inclusive

Here at Serco we’re looking for experienced an Electrician to join our team at James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough. Within this role you will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, fault finding, servicing commissioning and maintenance to a wide range of Services, Plant and Equipment within all areas of the Hospital. Furthermore, you will be required to analyse and diagnose faults in complex, multi-faceted equipment and carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance to a wide range of Plant and Equipment. Within this role you will be working as part of a team helping to make a real difference within the hospital environment.
What you’ll need to do the role:
The successful candidate will have a completed recognised appropriate Electrical Apprenticeship or other relevant structured Training Program; this could be one or more of the following:
* Level 3 NVQ
* Level 3 National/Diploma Certificate
* 18th Edition BS7671
* Proven experience of working in a similar environment
* Knowledge and understanding of Electrical Building Services
* Good communication and customer service skills
