Project Director

Project Director required to join leading civil engineering contractor on a major earthworks & civil engineering project in the Inverness area. The Project Director would ideally come from an earthworks or civil engineering background with previous experience in highways, roads, groundworks, RC works, earthworks, deep drainage, externals, and heavy civils.

The Project Director should preferably have a relevant construction degree (HNC or HND) along with SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities include:

1. Overseeing all elements of the project.
2. Dealing with design and technical aspects of the project.
3. Managing the earthworks element of the project.
4. Managing agents, engineers, and foreman.
5. Ensuring delivery of the project on time and within budget.
6. Developing relationships with clients, consultants, and site personnel.
7. Ensuring health and safety is enforced and all works are completed safely.
