Description Salary: £96,963 to £128,841 per annum, pro-rata if part-time Centre for Reproductive Health (CRH) in the Institute of Regeneration and Repair Full-time: 40 hours per week Fixed-term: for 2 years The Opportunity: The University of Edinburgh invites applications for the post of Albert McKern Senior Clinical Research Fellow in Obstetrics, based at the Centre for Reproductive Health (CRH) in the Institute of Regeneration and Repair, with clinical sessions as an Honorary Consultant in NHS Lothian. The successful candidate will be a clinical academic, with an academic research record appropriate to the level of appointment, both reputational and in publications, who will undertake research, clinical and other academic duties to complement and enhance ‘pregnancy and early life’ research strengths in Edinburgh. This post is full-time (40 hours per week); however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working. Start date flexible. The salary for this post is £96,963 to £128,841 per annum. Your skills and attributes for success: Be eligible for inclusion on the GMC Specialist Register. Hold a higher degree by research (PhD or MD equivalent). Be interested in developing as a clinical academic. Have a major research interest that is a good strategic fit within the Centre of Reproductive Health and relevant to its ‘pregnancy and early life’ theme. Engage, collaborate and contribute to existing research programmes aligned to the candidate’s area of interest.
