Role: Capital Accountant – Local Authority experience is essential
Location: East Midlands – Hybrid working
Type: 6 months ongoing
Daily rate: £400–£600 per day
Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting to an Interim Capital Accountant for a Local Authority based in the East Midlands.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting the Council in their audit process with a specific focus on capital and fixed assets.
* Performing data mining on the Fixed Assets Register.
* Ensuring the Council's Fixed Assets Module is in line with financial statements.
* Acting as a specialist for all capital and fixed asset queries.
Person Specification:
* Experience in local government finance.
* Experience dealing with fixed asset accounting.
* IFRS knowledge is desirable but not essential.
