Summary
The Town of Shrewsbury, a full-service local government driven by high performance and creativity, is seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to join the Business Management Division of the Department of Public Works as a Customer Service & Operations Support Specialist.
In this fast-paced, multifaceted role, you’ll be at the heart of supporting residents and stakeholders with all aspects of DPW operations. Whether addressing customer inquiries, streamlining processes, or ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding service to our community.
As a valued member of the BMD team, you’ll:
* Provide exceptional customer service to meet the diverse needs of our residents and constituents.
* Contribute to operational success across Utility Billing, Solid Waste & Recycling, Permitting, Financials, and other essential functions.
* Help shape and maintain efficient workflows that align with our shared goals.

Work Hours & Benefits
The Specialist works from the Public Works Office Suite in Town Hall. The work hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.
