About the role
In this job you’ll be one of three senior managers within the HEDS Development & Planning team. You’ll work with your counterparts (Head of Business Development and Head of Student Partnerships) as well as the Associate Director, Development & Planning in order to identify and amplify the synergies between the three functions to maximise coherence, efficiencies and the sharing of best practice. This will facilitate a two-way flow of information between Development & Planning, the wider HEDS team, and UCL more broadly.
You will lead your team to provide administrative support, and strategic leadership of systems management and planning, research, data analytics and reporting across HEDS. The role will also lead the day to day operational running of the HEDS office, ensuring relevant systems and processes are fit for purpose.

About you
To do this job you'll need a degree or equivalent work experience and substantial experience of project management, including planning, stakeholder management, delivering against target and evaluating impact. You’ll be adept at analysing quantitative and qualitative data to monitor activity and ensure continuous quality improvement, and experience of managing change in a complex organisation.
You’ll also have substantial experience of writing reports and recommendations for senior colleagues and overseeing administrative processes. You’ll be highly IT literate, able to utilise systems effectively, and be familiar with the data and data collection methods used in Higher Education.
