Artisan Group are looking for an Electrical PM with experience in solar PV.
Based in their HQ in Essex, the role of an Electrical PM will be to coordinate and manage a project from contract award right through to handover. Responsibilities include:
1. Developing project programmes, monitoring progress, and reporting to the client and Operations Manager.
2. Procuring subcontract labour, materials, and ancillary items.
3. Preparing and monitoring project budgets and controlling overspending.
The role as a Project Manager is to lead and implement the delivery of a large-scale PV programme across multiple sites. The 1-year framework is for a prestigious client, one of the UK's largest service providers. You will be required to travel to sites covering the East Anglia region and up to North Lincolnshire.
Requirements and Skills
1. Must have a minimum of 5 years commercial PV electrical experience.
2. Relevant experience in project management and operations within the commercial PV sector.
3. 17th Edition Electrical Regulations Qualification would be advantageous.
4. Ability to read and understand electrical designs from specifications and surveys.
5. NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation would be advantageous.
6. SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
7. Must understand site H&S requirements and be able to demonstrate their understanding of current legislation.
8. Experience in groundworks would be advantageous.
9. Central Inverter and HV experience would be advantageous.
10. ECS card or CSCS.
11. Driving Licence.
12. Excellent organisation and communication skills are essential.
13. Qualified first aider.
14. Must be prepared to travel.
