Job Overview
The Refrigeration Commissioning Engineer will work on Azenta's advanced automated sample management systems. These products are market-leading density and air-based refrigeration that prioritizes environmental compliance, supports energy reduction, and enhances efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing
1. Commission and service ULT (-80°C) and -20°C Refrigeration Systems.
2. Maintain excellent service levels at all times, ensuring a “first class” service to all customers.
3. Take on projects as required and see them through to successful completion.
4. Positively promote BLS to employees, customers, suppliers, and externally.
5. Actively investigate and understand client specifications and settings.
6. Operate and perform functions across both the projects and service division.
Compliance
1. Ensure that all relevant company and legislative policies and best practices are adhered to and maintained at all times.
2. Inform the relevant Manager of non-conformances and ensure that corrective action is taken.
3. Carry out site-specific Risk Assessments to ensure all safety procedures are in place prior to works.
4. Report near misses and accidents to the QSHE Coordinator.
5. Ensure PPE is fit for purpose and worn at all times while carrying out installations.
6. Calibrate gauges and equipment; all equipment must be calibrated and certificated.
7. Keep all standard Risk Assessments and Task Procedures in a file at all times with copies of all training certification.
What You Will Bring
1. Wealth of experience within Commissioning.
2. In-depth understanding of the end-to-end commissioning process and associated activities.
3. Ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal), with strong influencing skills, particularly at a senior level.
4. Unyielding attention to detail that results in zero errors/defects.
5. Flexible and proactive approach with the ability to work under their own initiative with a high degree of energy, assertiveness, and creativity.
6. C&G 2079 'F-Gas' Category 1 Qualification.
7. C&G / NVQ or equivalent in Refrigeration Systems.
8. CO2 Trained/Qualified.
9. Hydrocarbon Trained/Qualified.
10. CSCS Card is an advantage (Training will be provided if necessary).
11. Full clean UK driving license.
