Redbridge Health and Social Services is looking for an experienced Deputy Director to lead and deliver ambitious plans to redesign and transform our community health and social services to prevent, delay and reduce residents' health & care needs. The right candidate will have an excellent track record in both adult health and adult social care with rapid service turnarounds, complex financial management, demand management, extensive care pathway redesign, and service transformation that prevents avoidable hospital admissions and promotes earlier discharge from hospitals back into the community.

Main Duties of the Job
1. Lead on Health and Social Care service redesign and transformation.
2. Lead on health and Social Care efficiency saving plans.
3. Lead on avoidable admission prevention to acute hospitals and an earlier supported discharge from acute hospitals back into the community.
4. Lead on Redbridge Business, Performance and Transformation service.
5. Lead on Central Reassessment and Review team.
About Us
Starting with NELFT
NELFT places great importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, which will include mandatory training, systems training, and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process, new starters will have the opportunity to meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period unless they are currently partway through a probationary period or are currently a bank member of staff.
High-Cost Area Supplement
This post also attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,551 and a maximum payment of £5,735) pro rata for part-time staff.
