The Operational Resilience Manager will play a key role in ensuring the bank's ability to prevent, respond to and recover from operational disruptions impacting its services. This role is responsible for working with the business and key stakeholders to embed the Operational Resilience principles in line with regulatory expectations. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the subject matter expert on operational resilience, offering insights, training, and guidance to ensure comprehensive understanding across the organisation. Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential operational disruptions. Strengthen and implement the company's operational resilience framework, ensuring it aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, to maintain compliance with resilience standards and best practices. Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance operational resilience and maintain resilience documentation for senior management and committees. Skills & Competencies: Strong background in risk management, operational resilience, and crisis management. Knowledge of financial and regulatory developments impacting banking markets. Ability to work with vendors to ensure effective performance and compliance with resilience standards. Understanding of FCA and PRA conduct rules and regulatory expectations. Experience working with suppliers to manage third-party risk and resilience.
