Key Responsibilities:
1. Supervising classes during teacher absences.
2. Managing student behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment.
3. Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and ensuring students stay on task.
4. Supporting students with questions about the assigned work.
5. Reporting any issues, such as behavioral concerns, to senior staff.
6. Following school policies on safeguarding, discipline, and student welfare.
Skills & Qualities Needed:
1. Strong classroom management skills.
2. Confidence and the ability to engage with students.
3. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work independently and think on your feet.
5. Experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, coaching, or youth work) is beneficial.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. No formal teaching qualification is required, but experience in education is helpful.
2. A degree or equivalent qualification is often preferred but not always essential.
3. Strong literacy and numeracy skills.
