Position Overview
As a Senior Public Relations Manager, you'll drive brand awareness, support clinical and sector relations, and position Specsavers as an industry leader and a great place to work. You'll identify and develop opportunities to grow and strategically enhance our reputation within audiology and domiciliary care sectors.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop, deliver and manage impactful communication and engagement plans targeting key external stakeholders using a multi-channel approach.
2. Refine our approach to building and managing strategic relationships with industry partners.
3. Lead 12-month content planning and event planning to communicate key messages to specific market segments.
4. Propose and create editorial content across business communications channels.
5. Build trust with key stakeholders and attend industry functions like association events and conferences.
6. Respond to the needs of patients and customers to increase access to care.
7. Work closely with agencies and recruitment teams to develop an advertorial strategy for trade titles and social media channels, especially LinkedIn.
8. Produce regular reports and use analysis to continuously improve our communication strategy.
9. Establish and maintain relationships of trust with sector leaders.
Qualifications
You'll bring a ton of experience in creating and executing impactful communication campaigns, have a solid background and understanding of the healthcare sector, and have worked with healthcare bodies or government. Knowledge of PR, especially trade/B2B PR, is a big plus. Strong business, journalistic, and creative writing skills are a must.
