BankGeneral Theatre Practitioner– TheOaks Hospital – BankHours
TheRole
Tosucceed in this role, you will need to have a strong clinicalbackground in acute surgical care. We are looking for a dynamic andpositive individual to ensure the Theatre department is Safe,Effective, Responsive, Caring, and WellLed.
The successful candidatewill work in collaboration with the Theatre team, developingexcellent working relationships with staff members, consultants andkey stakeholders.
They willassist in driving sustainable excellence in the safety and qualityof care and services.
They will support theQuality agenda by monitoring achievements against requiredstandards, identifying risks to quality of care and services andplanning, recommending /implementing changes for continuousimprovement.
Whereyou’ll bebased
Locatedconveniently on the outskirts of Colchester, the hospital opened onthis site in 1994, with plenty of free parking for patients. All ofour Consultants undergo rigorous vetting procedures, ensuring onlythose who are qualified and experienced are granted practisingprivileges which are reviewed on a regular basis. Our consultantsare supported by a team of highly experienced and friendly nursingstaff who have your care and comfort as their highest priority. Youalso have the reassurance that a Resident Doctor is available 24hours aday.
Essentialexperience and qualifications for thisrole
* ODPlevel 3
* Comprehensiveunderstanding of relevant clinicalstandards
* Excellentorganisational and communicationskills
* Sound computer skillsand knowledge
* A registeredmember with the HCPC orNMC
* Scrub, Anaesthetic orRecoveryexperience
