Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and compassionate Deputy Manager to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who has experience as a Team Leader in care and is looking to take the next step in their career. You will receive a competitive salary of up to £30,075, including 4 sleep-ins per month, with additional sleep-ins and shifts available for overtime. Key Responsibilities: Build meaningful relationships with the children, understanding their interests, dislikes, and triggers. Ensure the wellbeing and safety of the children in your care. Lead, train, and develop your team of care workers. Manage the home in the absence of the Registered Manager, ensuring all care planning, regulations, and leadership requirements are met. Provide structure, consistency, and nurturing to the children, supporting them with daily routines and activities. Create and maintain clear and up-to-date care plans and records. Skills and Experience Required: Level 3 diploma for Children Young People and Families Practitioner, or NVQ equivalent. Previous experience in care practice. Leadership experience with teams. Commitment to developing colleagues and creating a nurturing environment. Ability to provide a safe and secure space for children to express themselves.
