Electro Mechanical Assembly Operatives
Salary: £23,000 - £27,000

Electro-mechanical Assembly Operatives required for a specialist manufacturing business in Oxfordshire. We are looking for experienced Assembly Operatives ideally with experience in production environments. General Assembly, production, workshop mechanical tasks, and the utilization of machinery and hand tools are essential. Ideal candidates will have a mixed background in Assembly, working to drawings, as well as warehouse work, packing, and shipping of products.
You will be required to work one of the shifts, Earlies or Lates as below:
1. Early Shift: 6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00 am to 11:00 am on Fridays.
2. Late Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays.
You will need to provide a highly flexible response to variations in demand with minimum supervision, carrying out production activities related to the manufacture of components and assembly of products. All successful candidates will be required to use hand tools, follow written instructions, and stand at a workbench throughout the day.
Duties will include:
1. Working with minimum supervision in any area of component manufacturing, product assembly, wiring, and testing as required to meet delivery requirements.
2. Carrying out component manufacturing and product assembly to meet requirements documented in build instructions, drawings, BOMs, or other related documents.
3. Ensuring that all components and products are stored tidily and correctly identified.
4. Accurately maintaining production records, product records, and other documentation.
5. Liaising with Team Leaders to ensure stock levels are kept up to date.
6. Alerting the Production Manager or other appropriate staff of any plant or equipment maintenance issues.
7. Offering suggestions to the Team Leader/Line Manager that will improve the efficiency and safety of production areas and equipment.
8. Raising awareness of manufacturing problems with the Production Manager and working with others to find and effectively implement solutions.
