The ideal candidate will have a results-driven focus and the ability to convey authentic and compelling brand messages. This role is integral in shaping and communicating our brand story, engaging with the media, and driving public awareness of our products and services. Responsibilities: Develop and implement a comprehensive PR strategy to enhance brand recognition, reputation, and business growth. Craft and disseminate authentic and compelling brand messages that highlight our 55 year legacy, family values, and commitment to quality. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, influencers, industry partners, and other key stakeholders. Manage and coordinate media relations, including pitching stories, arranging interviews, and responding to media inquiries. Create and oversee the production of press releases, media kits, newsletters, and other PR materials. Monitor, analyse, and report on PR campaign performance and media coverage to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure PR efforts are integrated with broader marketing and promotional campaigns. Organise and manage events, product launches, and press conferences to generate media interest and public engagement. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging PR opportunities to keep our strategies current and effective. Handle crisis communications with poise and professionalism to protect and enhance our brand reputation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field. Proven experience as a PR Manager or similar role with a track record of increasing brand recognition and contributing to business growth. Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives. Strong media relations skills and a well-established network of media contacts. Results-driven mindset with the ability to measure and analyse PR campaign effectiveness. Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative PR strategies and content. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Experience in the retail or furniture industry is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate: Experience with digital PR and social media engagement. Familiarity with graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva). Experience in event planning and management.
