Hourly rate: £17.50-£18.50+ (depending on qualifications and experience) | Monday to Friday: 08.00–16.30 | Overtime, Callouts & Weekends Available | Bonus Scheme.

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll play a key role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining plant equipment to the highest standards. You’ll work with cutting-edge technology, including telematics systems, electric machinery, and pioneering hydrogen engines.

Your Key Responsibilities:
* Service, repair, and maintain plant equipment to the manufacturer’s specifications, ensuring safety and reliability.
* Diagnose and rectify electrical, hydraulic, powertrain, and other faults, using diagnostic software (training provided).
* Report machine defects and upsell services, earning additional financial benefits.
* Maintain detailed service records via a tablet system.
* Collaborate closely with the service department, management, and parts teams.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety practices, including completing risk assessments.
What We’re Looking For:
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualifications in engineering.
* Experience: Expertise in construction plant, diesel engines, electrics, hydraulics, and transmissions.
* Diagnostic Skills: Ability to fault-find using electronic equipment.
* Communication: Build strong relationships with customers and provide exceptional service.
* Professionalism: Present a professional image and maintain excellent time management.
* Driving Licence: Full UK licence required.
