EAL Student Support + Additional Training
A modern, supportive Secondary School located in the Borough of Lambeth is looking to fill 2 x Unqualified EAL Student Support positions for an ASAP start. This a perfect opportunity for a graduate who is seeking first-hand experience working with children with additional needs. In an Unqualified EAL Student Support position, you will be supporting children who speak English as a second language and pupils with communication difficulties. This is a long-term role, for the full academic year.

Roles available for this Unqualified EAL Student Support position include:
1 x 1:1 Support for a pupil with communication difficulties
1 x EAL Student Support for two children who's first language is not English

Job description:
* EAL Student Support
* Supporting children with a range of EAL across year groups
* Working with children with Autism / ASD, ADHD, SEMH and behavioural difficulties
* Working in a Secondary School with CPD opportunities
* Liaising with the Classroom Teacher and SENDCo to ensure the students' needs are being met
* ASAP Start - Full Time & Long Term
* £130 per day
Candidate Specification:
* Must have a good degree from a reputable University
* Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with EAL would be ideal
* Passionate about supporting children
* You must be able to work effectively as part of a team
* Calm and compassionate nature
