We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Support Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Administrative Duties & Responsibilities
1. Provide PA support to the Managing Director. Organise and maintain calendar, schedule and prep for meetings, appointments, and events as well as travel and accommodation arrangements. Manage emails, letters, and phone calls. Draft, review, and respond to correspondence. Act as the first point of contact, filtering inquiries and requests and supporting them with general admin tasks as required.
2. Provide administrative support to the HR Manager. This will mainly be supporting recruitment, onboarding, training & H&S but will also be required to support on other varied general office admin tasks as and when required.
3. Post job adverts, organise applications, communicate with hiring managers and applicants throughout the process & book in interview slots. Book the company into various recruitment & careers events, complete preparations and attend events when required.
4. Review training records, organise and book training events and keep records up to date and key management informed.
5. Review systems and chase up missing information and documentation. Maintain records, files, and confidential documents. General data inputting and database management.
6. Assist in planning and organising company and social events.
7. Managing and updating construction accreditations (ISO, CHAS, Constructionline and others).
Sales & Marketing Duties & Responsibilities
1. Build a good understanding of the business and its separate divisions to help develop and promote the brand.
2. Producing sales forecasts, generating reports and presenting data to the Senior Management Team.
3. Searching tender portals for tender and framework opportunities.
4. Managing and completing Invitation to Tenders (ITT’s) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQ’s).
5. Completing council, highways, utility applications and acting as point of contact.
6. Setting up & comparing quotes.
7. Sending enquiries to suppliers.
8. Requesting and tracking customer feedback.
9. Collating project case studies.
10. Advertising over a range of different platforms.
11. Collating and electronically distributing company newsletters (EDM’s).
12. Website housekeeping – building landing pages, uploading newsletters, project case studies, images etc. Working closely with the external web developers to make changes where necessary.
13. Booking the company into various industry events, completing all preparations and attending these events when required.
This is a varied role and while the job description gives an indication of what will be required of the role, it is subject to change. The employee will be expected to undertake any other responsibilities as reasonably requested by the Senior Management Team.

6. Ability to multitask and prioritise under pressure. Working in a fast-paced environment at times requiring adaptability and flexibility.
7. Strong IT skills and proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other productivity tools and programs.
8. Driven with a positive attitude to work.
9. Can handle sensitive information with discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.
10. Must have a full valid driving licence.
Job Title: Business Support Administrator
Employment Type: Permanent – Full-time
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 08:00am to 16:30pm & Friday 08:00am to 16:00pm
Salary: £30,000.00 per annum
