As a Healthcare Support Worker on Cherry or Mulberry ward at Scarborough Hospital, you will be part of a multi-professional team providing high standards of care to our elderly patients. You will maintain and promote patient independence and dignity to ensure each patient receives a positive experience. Please see the attached document ‘Healthcare Support Worker Key Duties’ to see a full list of key duties.
As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will be expected to work a combination of shifts including nights, weekends, and Bank Holidays:
1. Early – 07:30-15:30
2. Late – 12:30 - 20:30
3. Long Day – 07:30 - 20:30
4. Night – 20:00 - 08:00
Please be aware that you must be able to attend a full-time induction programme for the first 4 weeks in your new role, this must be within 3 months of your interview date.
