Oculus Technology Solutions have partnered exclusively with a leading MSP as we search for a dynamic and experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead their technical team and oversee service delivery.
As the Technical Operations Manager | Service Manager | Infrastructure Manager | Service Delivery Manager, you will ideally come from a strong technical background who also excels in project and people management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and mentor a team of 4 project engineers and 6 helpdesk staff.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing professional development opportunities for team members.
* Oversee and manage the service desk and project teams, ensuring service delivery meets agreed-upon SLAs and KPIs.
* Implement and optimize ITIL processes to enhance service delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
* Act as the primary escalation point for critical issues, leading resolution efforts during major incidents.
* Act as an SME for Azure, Office 365, IP Networking, Windows Server, and related technologies.
* Provide hands-on support & mentorship.
* Support the strategic direction for the business.
* Be a forward-facing presence and support clients with technical advice where appropriate.
* Excellent communication skills.
This role could be based from Bristol or in Gloucester, with good flexibility to work from home or in a location that will allow you to thrive.
