Teaching Assistant – North Manchester
We are working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in North Manchester, who are looking to secure the services of an experienced, dedicated Teaching Assistant to join them from ASAP until July 2024.
It is essential that you have experience, supporting pupils with additional needs. A dynamic, proactive and caring person is required to be responsible for the day to day management of The Bridge and to ensure the provision provided meets all students’ needs. To support, mentor and work alongside students who need to be reintegrated back into mainstream provision. You will have to help the students self-regulate, complete their work, and reflect on their approach to learning. To be successful in this role, it is essential you are calm, resilient, and overall, have a good sense of humour.

Minimum rate of pay – from £85 per day
Hours – 8:30am – 4pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Degree educated with a good classification
Level 3 Teaching Assistant
Previous experience of working with SEN students and helping their progress
Previous experience working with young people (which we can reference)
Experience of teaching in a Secondary School (which we can reference)
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (essential, we can provide the training)
Up to date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (essential, again, we can provide the training)
Up to date behaviour management & FGM training (essential, however, training can be provided).
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £
Provide a minimum of two professional references.
