We are excited to offer a new opportunity for a Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to join our Procurement team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the Fleet department by coordinating vehicle maintenance and repairs, whilst ensuring cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.

The role will involve
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinating the scheduling of all vehicles in for service and repair and reporting any expected delays to relevant stakeholders.
* Working with our authorised vendors, dealers and body shops to ensure maintenance, repairs, inspection, laden RBT and MOTs are completed within the time limits set out on the Operator Licence.
* Identifying and onboarding regional suppliers to support an efficient approach to vehicle repairs and maintenance, and to negotiate with all suppliers to ensure the best value is achieved.
* Completing the supplier onboarding process for the fleet department.
* Providing recommendations and suggestions to help develop a suitable procurement strategy for fleet, in collaboration with the Procurement Manager.
* Monitoring costs in line with the fleet budget, keeping the Procurement Manager and Fleet Manager informed.
* Raising purchase orders via Sage 200 ensuring all details are recorded correctly.
* Monitoring and analysing fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement.
* Preparing regular reports to identify trends, insights and any anomalies.
* Collating supplier performance data and present findings.
* Providing support to internal stakeholders and be the first point of contact for external fleet supplier.
What we are looking for
A proactive and results driven individual who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has the following knowledge, skills and experience:
* Demonstrable experience in a coordinator support or similar role, within a fast-paced environment.
* Experience of supplier negotiation and onboarding.
* Experience of scheduling and coordinating in an Operational environment.
* Demonstrable experience in maintaining databases, ensuring accurate record keeping and tracking progress reports.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Knowledge of nationwide HGV maintenance and repair garages, and an awareness of fleet regulatory requirements.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
* Personable and confident with a positive attitude.
* Strong administrative skills with the ability to multi-task.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

* Hours of work: 40 Hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
