The governors of Etruscan Primary School, which is part of the Orchard Community Trust, are looking to appoint enthusiastic and committed teaching and learning assistants from January 2025. We have both permanent and 12-month contracts available. We are looking for excellent classroom practitioners to join our proactive team. Etruscan Primary School is a very special place. Have knowledge and understanding of primary pedagogy and child development Be an excellent classroom practitioner, supporting the teacher in the delivery of learning activities Be passionate about inclusion Be committed to working as part of a team Have a positive attitude and a flexible approach Have high expectations for themselves and the children in their care Be highly motivated, enthusiastic and inspire children to do their best Demonstrate skills, knowledge, understanding and experience of Key Stage 1 and 2 as well as Early Years Have a caring and friendly personality with a commitment to the happiness, well-being and progress of all at Etruscan Primary School. This role includes responsibilities for: Providing classroom cover of up to 3 days during any short-term absence Providing learning activities for individuals, groups and whole classes under the professional direction of a qualified teacher. Adapting learning programmes to suit the needs of pupils. Assess, record and report on development, progress and attainment of pupils as agreed with the teacher.
