As a Receptionist, based at Plascrug Leisure Centre, Aberystwyth, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of the reception role including dealing with customers, providing information, handling money, and ensuring a first-class front of house service.
As a council, we are embarking on an exciting journey which will see a number of our Leisure Centres become Wellbeing Centres. These roles provide an excellent opportunity to be part of that journey as we contribute to the promotion of positive health and wellbeing of our citizens.
As Receptionist, you will be required to assist the manager in the provision of an efficient and effective service and on a day-to-day basis will:
* Handle customers and respond to enquiries, complaints, and questions.
* Receive bookings and process facility hire enquiries.
* Handle money and process transactions using the LA’s systems.
* Provide administrative support to other staff members.
* Ensure all user information on the system is correct and up-to-date.
* Support the marketing programme for the facility.
We are committed to providing a bilingual service to our customers, so we require individuals with a degree of fluency in the Welsh language. Due to our opening hours, you will be required to work evenings and weekends as part of a shift pattern.
